MAKE TANGIBLE

TDSTUDIO is an architectural office based in Tokyo, Japan. Our studio is made up of a diverse and international team with different cultures, languages and architectural training.

At TDSTUDIO, our design philosophy is to allow context to inform our design, which strives to create more memorable and enchanting space. In all our projects, we are committed to creating Architecture which is sensitive to its context, nature, site conditions, and programmatic functions as well as locally available technologies and materials. We believe such attitude of creating architecture produces more suitable expression of form, structure and space, and such design manifests more contextually, environmentally, and socially responsible architecture.

We call architectural space realized through thoughtful transformation of the site, landscape and surrounding environment "TANGIBLE SPACES". "TANGIBLE SPACES" is trans-formative space in architecture. We believe architecture encompassing "TANGIBLE SPACES" enriches our life and experiences, and will root in a local environment and will cultivate more sustainable future.

Creation of "TANGIBLE SPACES" requires more thinking and researching approach of an each individual site, because "TANGIBLE SPACES" can only be achieved in respect of correlation among past, present and the future vision of the project.
At TDSTUDIO, design is not mere manifestation, it is also about our attitude. We are searching for a better architecture which helps to define future of a "PLACE", by designing our architecture to achieve "TANGIBLE SPACES".
